- -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- ENG
In Malaysia, people practice many of the main religions: sometimes it's even hard to remember what country I'm in. This magnificent melting-pot of cultures and ethnic groups, and therefore of temples and rituals, went by the arm with my curiosity for others' spirituality. I dedicated a day to a swim through their prayers, carefully observing three of the main religions found here, i.e. Islam, Chinese Buddhism and Hinduism. It's been a "unifying" experience, very delicate but emotional, where I could witness how so different traditions can then peacefully live together. I dedicated the title of this post to 3 very important elements that enriched my tiny spiritual journey: - the Hinduist bindi - the Islamic hijab - the Buddhist and Hinduist swastika, sadly become famous in the West for other kinds of ideology. I wish you all could experience such a powerful exploration! - (dal film Nymphomaniac di Lars Von Trier) -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- "It's actually the souls of the trees we're seeing in the winter. In summer everything is green and idyllic but in the winter, the branches and the trunks all stand out. Just look at how crooked they all are. The branches have to carry all the leaves to the sunlight. That's one long struggle for survival" - (From the movie: Nymphomaniac by Lars Von Trier) Nelle foto: L'autunno mette a nudo le strutture portanti della natura (Foresta di Allschwil - Svizzera- Ottobre 2017) In the pictures:
