- (foto scattate a Schönenbuch (CH), giugno 2018) -.-.-.-.-.-.-.- ENG A human being, what a sublime project. A sophisticated creature. If I open my eyes, I can observe all of you. If I close them, I can contemplate myself. Here below, I listed a few aphorisms related to this subject that have inspired me over the last months/days. As Karl Kraus said, <<An aphorism never coincides with the truth: it is either a half-truth or one-and-a-half truths>>, but it often serves as a privileged diving board: the possible award is a dive in the cradle of the infinite. Chi guarda all'esterno sogna, chi guarda all'interno si sveglia. Your vision will become clear only when you look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. Here in this body are the sacred rivers. Here are the sun and moon. As well as all the pilgrimage places. I have not encountered another temple as blissful as my own body. - Saraha Doha Nella vita il compito principale dell'uomo è dare alla luce se stesso Man's main task in life is to give birth to himself - Erich Fromm È molto semplice: non si vede bene che col cuore. L'essenziale è invisibile agli occhi It is very simple. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye.

C.G.Jung - Ricordi, sogni, riflessioni ENG Trail The trail leads, the trail speaks Groove left by others' sweat, and now by mine as well It carries me where, else, I couldn't go. "My entire youth can be understood in terms of this secret. It induced in me an almost endurable loneliness. My one great achievement during those years was that I resisted the temptation to talk to anyone. Thus the pattern of my relationship to the world was already prefigured: today as then I am a solitary, because I know things and must hint at things which other people do not know, and usually do not even want to know." C.G.Jung - Memories, dreams, reflections.
"The earthly manifestations of "God's world" began with the realm of plants, as a kind of direct communication from it. It was as thought one were over the shoulder of the Creator, who, thinking Himself unobserved, was making toys and decorations. Man and the proper animals, on the other hand, were bits of God that had become independent. That was why they could move about on their own and choose their own abodes. Plants were bound for good and ill to their places. They expressed not only the beauty but the thoughts of God's world, with no intent of their own and without deviation. Trees in particular were mysterious and seemed to me direct embodiments of the incomprehensible meaning of life. For that reason the woods were the place I felt closest to the deepest meaning and to its awe-inspiring workings. This impression was reinforced when I became acquainted with Gothic cathedrals. But there the infinity of the cosmos, the chaos of meaning and meaninglessness, of impersonal purpose and mechanical law, were wrapped in stone. This contained and at the same time was the bottomless mystery of being, the embodiment of spirit. What I dimly felt to be my kinship with stone was the divine nature in both, in the dead and the living matter." - C.G.Jung - Memories, Dreams, Reflections (in the pictures: my personal photographic interpretation of the above excerpt) |
