Inside me, inside you a chest of crystalline perfection hidden to most of us if left untouched in a deep darkness where we drown joy and pain, memories and ephemeral gems of the present moment Until, the extraordinary fracture will reveal that triumph of marvel! I thought I existed stubborn, solitary, independent and indestructible. Look around you, Billions of beings are breathing the same air that unifies us in a glorious continuity! Look at you now! Light shatters in twinkles and rainbows A small immense masterpiece, concealed for too long From a scared and lonely rock to a daring brook, young explorer From a diamond cemetery to a dying star Now you know the meaning of all! - A.Mansi (In the pictures: a frosty morning in Allschwil (Switzerland), January 2018. Come ogni cosa. (Nelle foto: Lago Saoseo, Svizzera, Gennaio 2018). In February 2017 I reached, for the first time in winter, one of my favourite alpine lakes. It was so different, compared to summertime, that I decided to revisit it every two months. I already talked and showed the pictures of all this, but I feel the importance of celebrating the end of this cycle, with the lake back to its soft and white dress. It is now back to the starting point, yet surely it has never been like this before. As I write, It has changed already. Like everything. (in the pictures: Lake Saoseo, Switzerland, Jan 2018) "At moments of wonder, it is easy to avoid small thinking, to entertain thoughts that span the universe, that capture both thunder and tinkle, thick and thin, the near and the far." - Yann Martel, from the book 'Life of Pi' |
