(ITA then ENG, after the picture) Leggendo un libro di Achaan Chah, mi sono imbattuto in questa frase del Buddismo Theravada. Tradotta letteralmente, significa che "tutte le condizioni sono impermanenti", nulla dura per sempre. Tutto segue questo schema sulla Terra, persino le emozioni. Pretendere che la felicità resti sempre con noi e la tristezza se ne vada, è frustrante come inginocchiarsi davanti alle neve, pretendendo che non si sciolga e che il Sole non sorga domani. Reading a book by Achaan Chah, I read this quote from the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
Literally: "All conditions are impermanent", nothing lasts forever. Everything on Earth follows this principle, even emotions! Wanting happiness so badly and asking sadness to leave, is as frustrating as begging in front of the snow, hoping that it will not melt, and that Sun will not rise above the horizon in the next day.
